About the studio
A ground-floor studio in Oud-West since 2019, laid out so bands can play together while vocals are tracked separately.
Why Milepostvivo
We opened Milepostvivo because many projects stall between good takes and a finished mix. Keeping tracking, mixing and mastering under one roof means tone and dynamics decisions do not need re-explaining in another room.
The studio is not dry hire: every session is run by someone from our fixed team. You receive a quote upfront with hours, rate incl. VAT and deliverables. Questions on rights, cancellation or privacy are answered in the FAQ and terms.
The rooms
Live floor — 46 m²
Main floor for bands and ensembles, with sight lines to the control room. Up to 6 musicians at once, each with an individual headphone mix.
Iso booths — 2
Isolated booths for vocals, voice-over and solo instruments, visually linked to the floor.
Control and mastering
Control room with 32 analogue inputs; mastering room with full-range monitors for final checks. Podcasts use a fixed table setup in control.
Gear and preparation
We maintain a locker of 24 microphones, preamps and DI boxes. Drum kits, guitar and bass amps are ready; bring your own gear if you prefer. Load heavy amps through the rear door — mention it on contact so we open the shutter.

Getting here
Helmersstraat 73, 1054 CV Amsterdam (Oud-West district). Tram 1 and 7: get off at Overtoom (towards the city centre), then walk about six minutes via Helmersstraat. Metro 51 or 53: De Vlugtlaan stop, then tram 1 towards Leidseplein. On-street bicycle parking; load gear through the rear roll-up entrance by appointment. Opening hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–22:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00, Sunday closed.. Outside those times by appointment only when the quote says so.
Labels and business clients
Business clients can receive invoices with 14 days payment term when agreed in writing beforehand. When you supply personal data of guests or podcast voices, see our data processing agreement and privacy policy.

- Archive with a limitWe keep sessions for 24 months so you can retrieve stems, then we delete them.
